Pride In The Flag And The Pledge

  • Thursday, October 12, 2017

When I was in grammar school, every morning we would stand facing the flag and say the pledge of allegiance. I must say, even at a young age, just saying it with my hand over my heart, and looking at the flag made me feel our country was special and I felt proud.

Sure, they're things our country has done we aren't proud of, but so many more we are.  The bottom line, many Americans have fought and died for our Country and Flag.

Everyone has a right to their opinion, but when it comes to showing respect for our country through the American Flag, no matter what your opinion is, you show respect if you consider yourself an American.

If not, get out of this country and live elsewhere cause we don't need you.

It's that simple.
