Red Bank Wrestlers Nip Notre Dame, 38-37

Irish Also Post 49-24 Win Over Chattanooga Christian

The Red Bank Lions got three pins and two forfeits en route to a 38-37 victory over Notre Dame in a prep wrestling match at Red Bank Thursday night.

The Irish then finished the evening on a positive note with a 49-24 win over Chattanooga Christian.

Jonah Bird, Jackson Hash and Jeremiah Welch all had pins for the Lions while Jeremy Holloway and Grant Speer both had pins for Notre Dame.  The Irish also benefitted from three forfeits, but those bonus points weren't enough for the win.

The Irish had six pins in the win over the Chargers with Holloway's 1:31 being the fastest.  Others included Thomas Loher, Ned Warwick, Daniel Hodges, James Boyd and Jacob Brigman.

CCS got pins from Justin Wheeler and Alex Hundley.
