Bill Allen, 64, of Tellico Plains, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017, at his residence.
Born on November 2, 1952 in Beckley, WV to the late Teliford and Esther Allen, and lived in Monroe County since 1988. Bill was an avid knife collector,enjoyed reading, and spending time with friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Estel Allen; and sisters, Norma Jean Rutledge and Shirley Miller.
Bill is survived by his siblings, Shelia Scott of Tellico Plains, Charles Allen and wife Jenny of Wilmington, OH, Carol Moses of Tellico Plains, Harold Allen of Niota and Peggy Luttrell of Daytona Beach, FL; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
At Bill’s request, there will be a private service at a later date.
Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Etowah has charge of the arrangements.
