Shirley Anne Lang, 70, of Hixson, died on Friday, January 20, 2017, at her home.
She was born July 1, 1946, in Anniston, Al.
She was preceded in death by her father, C. D. McDonald and her sister, Martha Sayers.
Mrs. Lang loved life and was a joy to be around. She never met a stranger. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Lang; children, Lisa (Michael) Conrad, and Mack (Tanya) McCartney; mother, Mildred McDonald; grandchildren, Kaula (George) Wasif, and Chelsea (Matt) Padgett; great grandchildren, Morgan Padgett, Mckenzie Padgett, and Charlie Wasif; nephews, Allan Sayers, David Sayers, and Christian Sayers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 23, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
