John Alan Hixson, 57, of Dunlap, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at his home.
He was a member of Ewtonville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Claudelle Hixson.
He is survived by his father, Philip Hixson, Dunlap; sister, Dixie Hedrick, Sparta; and niece, Sarah Hedrick, Sparta.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 22 at 2 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Brian Kearns officiating. Burial will be in Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap, where family will receive friends Saturday, January 21 from 3-6 p.m. CST.
