Upon further investigation, deputies found that other neighbors in the area had their vehicles broken into and that several items had been stolen, including at least one firearm. Neighbors were able to identify several items belonging to them in the property recovered from Ms. Shoemaker.

Morgan Shoemaker was being charged with one count of attempted first-degree murder, one count of reckless endangerment, one count of burglary (of an automobile), one count of theft, one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
