Marjorie Robbins
Marjorie Eloise Sharpe Robbins, "Lucy", 85, passed from life through death into eternity on Monday, January 16, 2017. She is now absent from the body and face to face with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Lucy was born May 16, 1931, in Vidalia, Ga., the daughter of the late R.A. Sharpe and Magdalene Evans Sharpe. She was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Jeanette Scott; two husbands, Jefferson M. Bonner and Bobby O. Robbins; and son-in-law Sam Nunley.
Lucy had a variety of work experience during her life mainly in administrative jobs. She worked many years at The Frances Shop in Rossville, and retired from CIGNA.
Survivors include her daughters, Melodye B. Nunley of Jasper, Tn; and Valerie (Roy) Penny of Soddy-Daisy, Tn; three grandchildren: Jeff Nunley, McKay (Kendi) Nunley, and Julie (Jonathan) Adams. She has one great-grandchild, Brooklyn Nunley.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Sunday, Jan. 22, at 2 p.m. at the Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy Daisy, Tn. 37379.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
