Sally Williams
Sally Angela Williams, 74, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at her residence.
She was born on Nov. 30, 1942, to Thomas Chester and Annie B. Henderson Williams. She was a 1961 graduate of Hill High School where she played basketball, ran track, and was homecoming queen. She united with the Greater Faith Temple Missionary Baptist Church, under the pastorate of Dr. Nathaniel Carter, Sr. Sally was employed with Seaboard Farms for several years and retired on May 18, 2006 from the Hamilton County School System.
Survivors include one son, Andre Williams; daughters, Angela (Joseph) King and Kivia Arnold; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, James (Patricia) Williams, all of Chattanooga; sisters, Bessie Williams and Edith Rice of Beaumont, TX; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Visitation is on Friday, Jan. 20, from 6-8 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, Jan. 21, at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Wiley Rice as the eulogist. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
