Marshall Ruben Millican, 73, of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017.
He was born March 13, 1943 in Fort Payne, AL. Throughout his working career, Marshall worked at E.T. Barwick Mills, Multi Color, Ronile, Mount Vernon Mills, and Roper Corporation.
He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Millican; parents, Roy Millican and Edith Odessa Jackson Millican; brother, Charles Millican; and sister-in-law, Hazel Millican.
Survivors are his wife, Martha Smith Millican of LaFayette; daughters, Lynn Smith of Chickamauga, Tracey (Jeremy) Norman and Becky England Jarvis all of LaFayette; grandchildren, Tony (Kris) Smith, Trisha (Brandon) Whitley, Phillip Moore, Kia Millican, Madison Jarvis, Levi Jarvis, Garrett Guffey and Savannah Guffey; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 15 at 1 p.m. in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Malcolm Harris officiating. Interment to follow.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, January 14 from 5-8 p.m.
