Darla Sims, 65, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, in a local hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Sims; son, Michael Sims; parents, Herbert and Helen Womack; and a brother, David Womack.

Survivors include her daughters, Brandi (Tim) Sims and Savannah (John) Sims; grandson, Noah; sisters, Vicki (James) Boyer and Kim (Tommy) Prueitt; extended family and friends. 

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12, at Greenwood Cemetery. 

The family will gather with friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 1-1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Car Crashes Into Motel 6 In Dalton; Driver, 17, Admits To Texting While Driving

The Dalton Police Department and Dalton Fire Department responded Saturday morning to a crash at the Motel 6 at Highway 41 and Tibbs Road.
