Janerio Diane Barber, 64, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017 in a local hospital. 

She was a graduate of Brainerd High School. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Toney; and stepfather, Early Sims, Jr. 

Survivors include her ex-husband, Joshuah L. Barber; sons, Jevaras (Kimberly) Barber of Escondido, CA and Jairius (Johnita) Barber of Alameda, CA; granddaughters, Jazmine Chane’ Barber and Jessie-Kristine Diane Barber; mother, Mrs. Anna J. Sims of Chattanooga; brothers, Derrick (Kotrecia) Sims, Eric (Pricilla) Sims, Monty Toney, all of Chattanooga, and Gary (Stephania) Ballard-Toney of San Antonio, TX; sisters, Yolanda Sims-Mills and Kelli Toney, both of Chattanooga; aunt, Lillian Gaines of Cleveland, TN; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. 

Visitation is on Saturday, Jan. 14, from 6-7 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. 

Funeral services will be on Sunday, Jan. 15, at 2 p.m. at New Anointing Pure Holiness Church with Pastor Eric D. Sims as the eulogist. 

Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
