Dalton State Volleyball Wins Against Brewton-Parker

The Dalton State volleyball improved to 4-9 overall and 3-5 in the Southern States Athletic Conference with a convincing straight set win over the visiting Brewton-Parker Barons at Bandy Gymnasium.

The Lady Roadrunners started the evening 25-19 to start things off right. The second set was even easier at 25-10. Dalton State broke open a 5-5 tie in the third set and cruised to a 25-8 win.

Anna Metzler led the Roadrunners in kills with 8. Grace Hardin followed with 5 and Julia Borges had 4.  Brooke Thomas had 15 assists and Clarissa Weber added 10. Clarissa Weber had 13 DS digs and Metzler added 9.

Dalton State will host College of Coastal Georgia Friday at 7:00 p.m.
