Etwell Dean Standridge, 91, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, died on Thursday, September 29, 2016.

She came to Chattanooga at a very young age from Gleason, Tn., where she was born.

She attended local schools from elementary through high school and then on to Overby’s Business College.  Somewhere along the way her direction changed from secretarial work to the field of photography.  She worked for several years at various photographic studios prior to her TVA employment where she retired after over 25 years of service.  Jimmie was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church and the Harrison Order of Eastern Star.  Her hobbies included bowling, camping, travel, reading and photography.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Parks E. Standridge; parents, Alton Summers and Stella Morris Honey; step-sister, Elizabeth Honey.

She is survived by her sister, Marilyn Honey Burgess; brother, W.F. Honey, Jr.; nephews, Jeff (Sharon) Burgess and Danny (Margie) Burgess; nieces, Teresa (Charlie) Dillard and Jan (Bart) Quinn; and several great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Greenwood Cemetery.
