Tate, Kathryn Marie Russold

Kathryn Marie Russold Tate, 97, of Chattanooga, and formerly of Dunlap, died at her daughter's home Monday, September 26, 2016.

She was born and raised in Rock Springs, WY. She was a member of OLPH Catholic Church in East Ridge, TN. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mary Sever Russold; her husband, David Eugene Tate; three sisters, Anne, Rose and Chris; and one brother, Fredrick. 

Survivors include four daughters, Carolyn Ruth Tate, Jacqueline Tate, Jean Marie (Brian) Harrison, Mary Brunghardt, Chattanooga; son, David Fredrick (Vicki) Tate, Dunlap; six grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. 

Services will be 11:30 a.m. EDT Friday at OLPH Catholic Church with Father Adam Royal Officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends Friday from 10:30 until 11:30.

Ewton Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
