Woman In Critical Condition After Being Stabbed In Domestic Dispute Early Monday Morning; Carlos Delposo Charged

A Chattanooga woman is in critical condition after she was stabbed early Monday morning.

Police have charged Carlos Delposo with attempted murder and aggravated domestic assault.

Officers with the Chattanooga Police Department were called to a home in the 3200 block of Navajo Drive regarding a female suffering from wounds consistent with a stabbing.

A female victim was found outside a residence suffering from stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS. Her wounds are considered life-threatening, and she is listed in critical condition.

 Police said Delposo was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS. He was treated for non-life threatening wounds.

 This incident is considered a domestic situation. The Chattanooga Police Department's Special Victims Unit continues to follow all leads.
