Malcom Watkins III is facing charges after a robbery victim was able to get a Snapchat photo of him during the Aug. 11 holdup.

Watkins, 18, of 2005 Sherman St., is charged with especially aggravated robbery, two counts of aggravated robbery and felonious reckless endangerment.

One person was shot in the foot during the incident in the parking lot of Chuck E. Cheese at Northgate.

The three victims are juveniles, including the one who was shot. Police were notified after he went to Northpark Hospital for treatment.

The teens said they went to the lot to purchase a small amount of marijuana.

They said three black males exited a vehicle and demanded that they hand over all their possessions. One of the robbers held a gun to the head of the youth, who was eventually shot. He was shot while struggling with the gunman.

He said he had handed over his cell phone and $20 in cash.

The victims did not know the identity of the man in the Snapchat photo, but police investigators did.

Police showed a picture lineup to all three victims and all three picked Watkins out of the lineup.
