Chattanooga Football Club player José Ferraz, also known as “Zeca”, has joined Barge, Waggoner, Sumner and Cannon, Inc., as Civil Designer.
Mr. Ferraz will be involved in the firm’s civil site design services for industrial, commercial, park, and residential sites. He also plans to assist surveying crews with boundary, topographic and construction staking.
He graduated from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering, also playing on the school’s soccer team. Mr. Ferraz previously worked at Barge Waggoner as an intern, both in Memphis and Chattanooga. He is a native of Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

"His great soccer ability, character and the desire to be a part of our community sets the example for new, young players joining Chattanooga Football Club. Since joining Chattanooga Football Club, the team has become a four-time National Premier Soccer League Southeast Conference champion, three-time South Region champion, and a National Finalist twice. He has scored a total of 12 goals with 12 assists recorded.
