The popular Cookie Jar Cafe outside Dunlap in the Sequatchie County will stop opening on Sundays beginning in September.
Operators of the Cookie Jar said, "It is with a very prayerful heart that we have an announcement to make. Beginning Sept. 1, we will be closing on Sundays.
"The Lord has blessed us and it is time we give back to Him. Thank you so much for letting us share your Sunday dinners with you over the past 14 years.
"It's time we took Sundays to serve our Lord and make memories with our families.
Please keep us in your prayers as we trust Him on this journey. God Bless you all."
