The first annual Body Positive Fashion Show will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 2:30 p.m. at the Hart Gallery at 110 E. Main St. in Chattanooga. The show is the first major fundraising event for the local grassroots organization Body Positive Chattanooga. The event will include a runway fashion show, wine and locally-made cupcakes.
The Body Positive Fashion Show is sponsored by Plato's Closet, Style Encore and Northside Neighborhood Thrift Store, which will provide "eclectic and unique clothing pieces designed to flatter the diverse line-up of local models."
Admission prices are: adults - $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and children 10 and under are free.
Body Positive Chattanooga is available for group presentations for local organizations, businesses and schools as part of their community outreach efforts.
