Sale Creek and Silverdale both played district volleyball matches at home on Tuesday and both were winners in straight sets. The Chattanooga Christian Lady Chargers had to take a trip to Pikeville for a district 7-AA match with Bledsoe County, but they too were victorious in three straight sets.
Sale Creek improved to 13-1 overall and 2-0 in District 6-A with a 25-6, 25-20 and 25-6 win over Lookout Valley while the Lady Seahawks notched a win in District 5-A with a 3-0 win over CSAS, the winners by scores of 25-11, 25-12 and 25-12.
And the Lady Chargers improved to 3-2 in 7-AA and 5-6 overall with the 25-10, 25-9, 25-21 victory over the Lady Warriors
Ariana Smith had 13 kills, 11 digs and six aces to lead Sale Creek while teammates Bailey Nelson had 20 assists and Morgan Weatherford 22 digs.
Caroline Dale, Kayleigh Page and Katie Patrick all had four kills for Silverdale while Savannah Gann had 13 assists. Page and Patrick both had five blocks as well.
Brieanna Hemphill had nine kills to lead CCS while Rachel Kay had 11 assists and Anna Linkous nine aces.
