The Autumn Children’s Festival, benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga, will be held on Oct. 1 and 2 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Tennessee Riverpark, 4301 Amnicola Hwy. Admission and parking are free.
At the festival, attendees celebrate fall while supporting families with sick children; all proceeds benefit families staying at the Ronald McDonald House.
The Festival attracts over 3,000 attendees in two days with food, activities, crafts, and games for all ages, including: a petting zoo, face painting, horse rides, carnival games with prizes, a Ronald McDonald meet and greet (Saturday at noon), arts and crafts, kiddie train, hayrides, as well as health, wellness, and educational programs, and more.
Activities range from 50 cents to $3.
Officials said the Autumn Children’s Festival is the longest and largest running children’s festival in the area. The event generates over $65,000 for the charity each year.
