Miracle League Of Chattanooga Needs A Miracle

  • Monday, August 29, 2016

The Miracle League of Chattanooga broke ground in May and  was scheduled to open in October, but will not be ready due to lack of funds. Kim Chapman Nolan and the board members have been working tirelessly to raise enough money for this "Field of Dreams" to become a reality.

This field gives opportunities for children with disabilities to play baseball. The surface is a special rubber that makes it easier to get from base to base. The field is completely flat which is so important for children with walkers, crutches, wheelchairs and prosthetics. Everyone bats and scores, they even a have "buddy" to help them round around the bases.

No child should ever have to watch from the sidelines just because they may have some physical limitations. They have the same wants, needs and desires as other children do.

There is a Go Fund Me page called Miracle Mom's- Miracle League of Chattanooga at https://www.gofundme.com/2kkyu4kc

Please help us finish this field so theses "Miracles" wont have to sit on the sidelines watching everyone else have fun. We promise if you come out to watch a game, on their brand new field that you helped finish, you will realize what an incredible difference you have made in the life of a child. Please donate, no amount is to small.

Chattanooga is such a generous town, let's be #Chattanoogastrong for these children.
