Fire Investigators Request Help In Locating Woman Who Left 5-Month Old Baby After Setting House On Fire

Chattanooga fire investigators are asking for help in locating someone.

Shortly after noon on Friday, Chattanooga police and firefighters were dispatched to a small fire in the backyard of a house at 606 Dodson Ave.

After reportedly becoming angry with her boyfriend, Lureya Deprise Drew gathered up the man’s clothes and a few other items and set them on fire in the backyard. Drew then fled, leaving her five-month-old baby behind. 

Charges are pending against Ms. Drew. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Ms. Drew is urged to call the Chattanooga Police Department at 423 698-2525.
