Jane Murner Peardon, 80, of Guild, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, August 24, 2016.

Born in Talladega, Al., on March 19, 1936, she was a lifelong member of Guild First Baptist Church where she served as clerk for many years. She worked many years at MCHS, the Marion County Courthouse and 44 years in the banking industry where she retired in 2015 at the age of 79.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Peardon; and son, Tim Peardon; parents, James Raymond and Margaret Keahey Murner.

She is survived by her children, Suzy Martin, of Guild, Tn., and Eddie (Debbie) Peardon, of Jasper, Tn.; grandchildren, Chuck Martin, Mary Martin, Jennifer (Heath) Gruetter, Matt (Kyra) Peardon; great-grandchildren, Kaeden and Bo Gruetter and Emma Kate Peardon; brother-in-law, Ronnie (Brenda) Peardon; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 27, at 3 p.m. with Reverend Ronnie Smith officiating. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Aug. 26, from 2–9 p.m. and on Saturday from 1–3 p.m. Central time.
