Singer/songwriter Mark Kelly Hall will perform a Labor Day Weekend Show at Puckett’s on Sunday, Sept. 4. The music, a blend of Americana blend of originals and favorites, will start at 5 p.m., and admission is free.
Review for Mark Kelly Hall:
Despite his efforts, Hall has had the occasional firsthand experience of manual labor of the strenuous type. So he is especially eager to show appreciation for the dedication and sacrifices that made possible the favorable work conditions and time off we enjoy today.
Mark Kelly Hall addresses topics such as love, faith and the 70's, with an approach that is often humorous but always serious. He is originally from the Chattanooga area and now based in Nashville. His songs reflect the spiritual heritage of the Bible-belt South, combined with a lifelong fascination with American pop culture, and seasoned by his experiences in places far away from his native Tennessee. His style recalls James Taylor and Jim Croce, and his presentation is flavored with congeniality, personal insight, and a touch of country blues.
