Edgar Gifford
Edgar L. Gifford, 80, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at his home.
He was a member of Mt. Crest Church of God of Prophecy and was retired from Lazy Boy.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Jean Gifford; parents, Henry Raymond and Mayme Gifford; brother, Henry Raymond Gifford, Jr., Charles T. Gifford; sisters, Thelma Hitchcox, Judy Tucker, Rowena Gifford; and nephew, Roger Dale London.
Survivors include his wife, Ina Jean Gifford; sons, Jimmy L. (Anita) Gifford and Darrell (Deanna) Gifford; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marietta London, Evalene Shannon, Alvalene Holland, Linda Clark and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be on Wednesday, Aug. 23, at 1 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Ken Norris officiating. Burial will be in Iron Hill Cemetery.
