Pamela K. Ward & The Last Call Returns To Puckett's Stage

When Pamela K. Ward returned to Puckett’s stage on Saturday night, she came ready.  Armed with a saxophone, keyboard, and incredible vocals, Pamela K. Ward has a stage show that is nothing short of electrifying. She has been a house band artist for the NHL Nashville Predators from 2010-2013, performing for multiple home games and events at Bridgestone Arena. She has opened for artists from Loretta Lynn to Jimmy Buffett. Her original song, "Farmer's Daughter" spent 13 weeks on the Clear Channel Top 20 Unsigned Artists Chart, where it peaked at #5.

Raised on a six-generation family farm in White County, Ark., Pamela is very proud of her roots and lives by the quote, "You can't know where you're going unless you know where you've been." Her parents instilled in their children an appreciation for all genres of music. Pamela was encouraged to pursue everything from Ozark bluegrass to Memphis blues. At 14, Pamela became a performer at the Ozark Folk Center State Park in Mountain View, Ark., where she performed traditional Ozark Mountain music and became known as the "Lil' Yodeling Girl." At 16, the family took a two-hour car ride every weekend to Beale Street in Memphis so Pamela could play sax on the street corners with the makers of the blues. These experiences made Pamela the versatile performer she is today. She has her local following when she is in Chattanooga performing at Puckett’s.

She may be just a farm girl from the sticks in Arkansas, but she carries a big sax, has a big voice and, at 4'11" and 100 pounds, she's proof that big things come in small packages. Let's say she brought some heavy backup arsenal too.  The Last Call Orchestra consisted of  Chris Gadler-Guitar/Bass/Vocals, Fred McMahan-Drums, and John McNally-Guitar.  This and more information on booking Pamela K Ward on social media and her web site at http://www.pamelakward.net/

Pamela K Ward will return to Puckett’s in late September. Be sure to check the music event schedule at http://puckettsgro.com/chattanooga/events/ . A look ahead for you will be Shawnessey Cargile (8/26), Jon Scott (8/27) Randy Steele (w/Slim Pickins Bluegrass 9/2) and Courtney Holder (9/3).   Puckett's is a family-owned and operated Southern meat 'n three that serves breakfast, lunch & dinner Monday through Sunday, with live music too.
