Phyllis Babb Landis, 59, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Wood Dale Health Care Center.
She was a United States Army Veteran.
Survivors include a daughter, Alyssa Landis of Dalton; sons and daughter-in-law, Martin Landis of Dalton and Jordan and Monica Landis of Chattanooga; sisters, Nancy Waltz and Emily Bishop, both of Illinois and Glenda Smith of Tunnel Hill; brothers and sisters-in-law, Pete and Hye Babb of Madison, AL., Charlie and Rosalba Babb of Columbus, GA, Dwight and Linda Babb of Stone Mountain and David Lavanway of Denver, CO; and grandchildren, Lilly Landis and Isaac Brewer.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 1 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Darey Kittle officiating. Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1 p.m.
