Sandra Lee Herron Wilson, 77, of Chickamauga, Georgia, died on Saturday, August 20, 2016.
A lifelong resident of the Chickamauga area, she was a former employee of Crystal Springs Bleachery, a former volunteer at Hutcheson Medical Center and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Vaughn Wilson; parents, John E. and Doris Opal Akins Herron; and sister, Nancy Bloodworth.
She is survived by five children, Mike (Cindy) Wilson of Rising Fawn, Cindy (Keith) Culbreth of Chickamauga, Donna (Adam) Blaes of Chickamauga, Rick (Sandy) Wilson, of Chickamauga, and Mickey Wilson of Chickamauga; special niece and caregiver, Doris Jefferies of Chickamauga; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24, in the funeral home chapel.
Entombment will follow at LaFayette Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Aug. 23, from 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday until funeral time at the funeral home.
