Hamilton County Democratic Party Chairman Terry Lee said county GOP Chairman Tony Sanders "carried the water for their dishonest candidate for assessor of property Marty Haynes."
Mr. Lee said, "This is not the first time Haynes has hidden behind Sanders; and it likely won’t be the last.
"In trying to focus on what amounts to a clerical error that has already been corrected on a campaign disclosure form and filed with the election commission, Sanders and Haynes are attempting to hide their disregard for our struggling senior citizens.
"The truth is that our nominee Mark Siedlecki is the only candidate with the technology business background needed to modernize the office and the only one advocating for seniors and earning their votes as a result.
"Marty Haynes is hoping that you won’t notice this is his fourth run for office in six years. (It’s Mark Siedlecki’s first ever.) He’s hoping you won’t notice he’s an entrenched bureaucrat playing the same old dirty politics. (Mark has built a successful career in the technology industry, creating many jobs.) And he’s hoping you won’t notice he does not stand for our struggling seniors. (Mark is a steadfast advocate for the Senior Tax Freeze.)
"These attacks from Marty Haynes, or whomever he happens to be hiding behind at the time, will not work. He just thinks he can rely on mudslinging because he can’t win on the issues. He’s on the wrong side of Senior Tax Freeze and not on the side of county taxpayers. I urge you to vote for the candidate who will work hard for us, implement modern technology and truly serve this county: Mark Siedlecki for assessor of property."
