Edna Rose Sims, 93 of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday July 27, 2016 at her home.
She was born Sept. 30, 1922 in Middle Valley to the late Samuel and Blanche (Miller) Rawlston; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Otis Howard Sims of Graysville; her son, Bobby Sims of Sale Creek; her sisters, Dorothy Williams, Clara Mae Rawlston, Mary Rawlston all of Middle Valley and Rita Barger of Graysville; and her brother Lamar Rawlston of Whitwell.
Edna was a long time resident of Graysville, and was a member of Wayside Baptist Church.
Edna is survived by her son, Bill (Geraldine) Sims of Graysville; her daughter Charlotte Mason of Chattanooga; her brother John Rawlston of Sale Creek; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Edna will be held Saturday, July 30 at 1 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens.
