GDOL To Help Sustainable Corrugated Recruit In Dalton

The Georgia Department of Labor will help Sustainable Corrugated, a manufacturing company, recruit about 60 employees to work in Dalton.  

The recruitment will be held on Thursday, Aug. 4 from 2-7 p.m. at the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center located at 2211 Dug Gap Battle Road in Dalton.

The employer will be recruiting forklift and machine operators, along with industrial electricians and second shift maintenance mechanics.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, all employees must be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma, is required.

Related experience is different for each position. Forklift operators require a minimum of two years of experience, while machine operators require a minimum of one year or six months of corrugator experience. Industrial electricians require a minimum of five years of experience, and second shift maintenance mechanics require a minimum of three years.

Salaries for all openings will range from $14 to $25 an hour, depending on experience and position. 

Selected applicants will be required to pass a background check and drug screening test.
