Jon Roger Lorrain, 69, of LaFayette, Georgia, died on Friday, July 15, 2016.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, he has lived in the LaFayette area for the past 10 years and was of the Catholic faith.  Jon attended Princeton University where he graduated in 1969 with a BA in French Literature. He received his Master of Arts degree from the University of Georgia, and taught undergraduate French there. He was active in Academy Theatre in Atlanta, and Theatre Intime at Princeton. Jon was an accomplished pianist and served in the Peace Corps. in Africa.

Jon was preceded in death by his father, Roger Amedee Lorrain and mother, Katherine Thompson Lorrain.

He is survived by three siblings, James Thompson Lorrain, Lisa Marie Lorrain and Jeffrey Michael Lorrain.

There will be no local services held.

Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home LaFayette Chapel, LaFayette.
