Catherine Virginia Smith Hill, 70, of Manchester, Tennessee, formerly of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2016.
She was a resident of Manchester for 12 years and attended Rutledge Falls Baptist Church. Catherine loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed playing games and traveling whenever she could. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Catherine was preceded in death by her father, J.W. Smith; brother, William Smith; and sister, Louis Clark.
She is survived by her mother, Francis Smith, of Dalton; children, Rebecca (Benny) Durham, of Ringgold, Charles (Kris) Hill, of Manchester, Tn.; sisters, Ozie Moore, of Dalton, Sarah Williams, of Ringgold; grandchildren, Kurt, Joey, James, Charles, Cody, Rachel, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday July 30, in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Calvary Gardens Cemetery & Mausoleum.
Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and until time of service on Saturday.
