Jeffrey Evans Arrested After Car Chase

Jeffrey Alan Evans was arrested Tuesday on two outstanding warrants for misdemeanor failure to appear and charged with felony evading arrest, reckless driving. driving while revoked, and no seatbelt.

A vehicle was observed traveling on Johnson Boulevard without the driver utilizing his seatbelt. Once a patrol deputy activated his emergency lights in order to initiate a traffic stop, the vehicle accelerated in speed and led deputies on a chase on several roads. The vehicle came to a stop, and Mr.

Evans attempted to evade on foot into the woods, but was taken into custody without further incident.
