Josephine Mayberry
Josephine Doremus Mayberry, 95, of Hixson, Tn., died on Monday, July 25, 2016 at her home.
She was of the Presbyterian faith. Josephine was retired from Combustion Engineering in the accounting department and was a Red Cross volunteer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Mayberry, two sisters, Sylvia McCurry and Mary Ann Cooke; four brothers, Henry Doremus, John Doremus, William Doremus and Ray Doremus.
Survivors include her brother, Robert “Bob” Doremus (Patsy) of Chattanooga and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Bill Doremus officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery with nephews serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
