Flabbergasted By Rape Suspended Sentence - And Response (3)

  • Saturday, July 23, 2016

I am flabbergasted. A 15-year-old young lady was raped by a bus driver, to whom we have entrusted our young, and all he gets is a suspended sentence and a GPS ankle bracelet.  Really?

What judicial idiot, in their “judicial wisdom,” felt that sentence was appropriate?

Via the Disciplinary Counsel of the Supreme Court of Tennessee- Administrative Office of the Courts, the judge should be brought up on charges of misconduct and/or breach of the public trust.  Is this merely another example of politicians and/or leaders that we have chosen and their inability to handle the task(s) given them appropriately?

Mr. Munger, if you will read the headlines you will see that the judge in this case was Barry Steelman.

It would be nice to know how this piece of garbage got a suspended sentence. Give me a break, equal justice in this country does not exist. Bus driver must have had a great lawyer. Seems like injustice to the "child."

What is this country coming to? Talk about soft on crime, but does anyone really care? Sad.

Seems we have some in our judicial system that agree with the college rapest's dad. Do they also believe there should be no jail time for quote "Twenty minutes of action?" unquote.

Please God, help the young girls in our county from sexual predators and the judicial system as they have no one else.

If Barry Steelman has or had a daughter and this happened to her the identical way it happen to this 15-year-old, same bus and driver would the verdict would have been the same?  Strange form of non justice in my opinion.  Mr. Steelman should share with the people how he came to this verdict on this forum.
