Billie Jean Saylors Williams, 81, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was a member of Rocky Face Baptist Church and retired from the Georgia Division of Family and Children’s Services.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dock and Inez Saylors; her loving husband, Charlie H. Williams Jr.; sister, Minnie Ruth Saylors Shuler.
She is survived by her loving sister and brother-in-law, Essie Saylors Smith and Robert H. Smith of Dalton; three daughters and a son-in-law, Eve and Gary McClure of Brentwood, TN, Candace Eagle of Knoxville and Becky Croft of Houston, TX; son and daughter–in-law, Al and Brenda Williams of Mt. Juliet, TN; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pamela and Kenneth Eakes of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Evan, Sarah, Peyton and Elliot McClure, Hart, Robert and Frances Williams, Blaine Miller and Lauren and Ryan Croft; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Williams will be held Tuesday, July 26, at 3 p.m. at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples with Rev. Van Smith and Rev. Reagan Marsh officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:-3 p.m.
