Campbell, Dorothy Jean Pruett (Cleveland)

Dorothy Jean Pruett Campbell, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 21, 2016.

She was a faithful member of Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy where she participated in numerous ministries and mission trips. She loved people and enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Club as well as being a special events coordinator and planner for numerous occasions throughout her life. She was a 1944 graduate of Bradley Central High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Howard “H. B.” Campbell.

She is survived by two sons, Adonis Campbell and wife Gail of Short Pump, VA and Keith Campbell and wife Curtis of Lakesite, TN; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; special nephews and nieces; and extended family Mike and Patsy Plumley.

The family will receive friends and family on Sunday July 24, from 4-6 p.m. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements, and on Monday July 25, from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy preceding the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be conducted at The Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy by the Reverend Robert Daugherty and Reverend Adam Jones on Monday, July 25, at 12:07 p.m. followed by interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Peerless Road Church of God Missions.
