What A Small Country Community Can Do

  • Friday, July 22, 2016
In this season of political divisiveness, it’s refreshing to see what a small country community can do when we pull together.

Thanks to the Bradley and Hamilton county residents that voiced their opposition, signed petitions, and vowed to show up in force at the Bradley County Planning Commission to oppose a ‘use permit’ application for a commercial party venue in Owl Hollow.

Thankfully, applicant chose to withdraw ‘use permit’ request.

Special thanks to Bently Thomas for the heads-up, commissioner Mike Hughes for his quick action and recommendations and Cheryl Clark, Lynn Walsh, and my wife, Carol, for reaching out to our neighbors.
