Emerald Butler finished recording her first solo album entitled "I Am Me." The album is a collection of songs that reflect the influences that have helped shape her music. For over seven years Ms. Butler has been a regular at many venues in the greater Chattanooga area, including the Woodsongs Concert Series, Chattanooga's Puckett’s, Riverbend, as well as numerous churches and regional “oprys”.

"Her versatility as a musician is evident by the many different bands she performs with, which range from traditional bluegrass to classic rock," officials said.

While finishing her final semester at Chattanooga State, Ms. Butler released her first music video of her original song “Lone Wolf” with the help of Chattanooga State’s Media department. The video is available to watch on the Emerald Fiddlers YouTube Channel online.

It is anticipated that I Am Me will be released in late summer or early fall. For more information about the the album, email emeraldfiddler@yahoo.com.
