Annie Ruth Holloway, 96, of Whitwell, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
Ms. Holloway was a charter member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and retired from Signal Knitting Mills.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Holloway; sons, Herman Holloway and James Ray Holloway; parents, Foster and Josie Pickett Miller; sisters, Mildred Young and Linda Nunley; brothers, Henry Miller and JC Miller; grandchildren, Tosha Holloway Hobbs and Matthew Lofty; great-grandchild, Brittany Lofty; son-in-law, Arlo Layne; and daughter-in-law, Janice Holloway.
She is survived by her children, Doris Layne and Evelyn (Brice) Lofty; brother, Clifford Miller; sisters, Naomi Holloway and Eunice Jean Raines; ten grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. CST, Saturday, July 23, in the chapel of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Reverends John Helenthal and Michael Shrum officiating. Interment will follow in the Pickett Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. CST Friday, July 22.
