David Benedict (mandolinist for Missy Raines and The New Hip) and guitarist Michael Moore will present an evening of adventurous string music at The Barking Legs Theater. This duo has developed a distinctive style of original and traditional acoustic instrumental and vocal music–equally pulling from the genres of jazz, folk, bluegrass, classical, and popular music. Now at the cusp of their debut duo album, Each by Side, David and Michael offer a compelling, entertaining, and unique display of the musical possibilities in the mandolin and guitar idiom.
