Scenic City Chorus will present their annual ACAFest on Aug. 20, 7 p.m. at the Girl's Preparatory School, 205 Island Ave. in Chattanooga.
"Featuring four-part, a cappella harmony at its best, you will hear songs from across the years—favorites made popular by Randy Newman, the Beatles, Bobby Darin, Abba, Cyndi Lauper, Pharell Williams, and more.
"Our special guest is Boardwalk, an award-winning men's quartet whose musical style and stage persona—a blend of folk music, barbershop harmony, and classic slapstick—is a sharp turn from the norm.
Their love for a cappella harmony and also string instrumentation offers a style reminiscent of the roots of vaudeville and barbershop," officials said.
Tickets are $20 and can be obtained from any Scenic City Chorus member or at the box office on the evening of the performance. There will be a 50/50 drawing and a chance to win a door prize of four tickets to their Christmas show.
Tickets for the Afterglow are $5 per person and include refreshments plus more entertainment from Boardwalk and others—all at the same venue.
