Claude Turner
Claude Dewayne “T” Turner, 71, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at his residence.
He was a 1963 graduate of Howard High School. He was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force where he served for 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his only child, Nadia; his parents, John and Essie Mae Turner; two brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include his beloved and cherished wife, Ruby Banks-Turner; stepsons, Clifford J. (Anita) Banks, Jr., Nickalus W. (Shalamia) Banks; four step-grandchildren; surviving sister, JoAnne (Orlanda) Watkins-Bayless of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; grand-nephews; other relatives and friends.
Visitation is on Friday, July 22, at 3 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 4 p.m. in the chapel.
