James Ellison
James William Ellison, Jr., 59, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at his residence.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and was employed by Norfolk Southern Railway.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eula and James Ellison, Sr.; brothers, Wayne “Cowboy” Ellison, Joseph Ellison, and Marcus Ellison, Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Alesia D. Ellison; sons, Jermaine Harris of Stone Mountain, GA, Pontraell (Candace) Ellison, Sr. of Murfreesboro, Martel (Liberty) Worthy of Port Hueneme, CA, and Leitron Ellison of Chattanooga; stepson, Curtis Worthy of Chattanooga; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; brothers, Gerry Ellison of Chattanooga, Reginald Ellison, Sr. of Stone Mountain, GA, and Greggory Ellison of Decatur, GA; brothers-in-law, Chris (Pam) Alderson and Kenneth Worthy both of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Visitation is on Thursday, July 21, from 6-8 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Friday, July 22, at noon in the chapel with Brother Jimmie Ingram as the eulogist. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
