Tyrone Shibley
Tyrone Perry Shibley, 63, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, June 24, 2016 in a local hospital.
He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed by Dupont for many years. He was a member of New United M.B. Church.
Tyrone was preceded in death by his daughter, Ugandra Shiblry; parents, Henry and Odessa Shibley, Sr.; and brothers, Henry Shibley, Jr. and David Shibley.
Survivors include his daughter, Tyronesia (Basil) Small; step-daughters, Crystal Snead, Lillian Kelly, and Chiquita Glover; grandchildren, Darniqua Shibley, Jestiny Desmond, SheKinah Shibley, and Basilia Small; great-grandchild, Penelope Williams; step-grandchildren, Perry, Calen, and Zayden Snead; sisters, Sharon Page, Edna (Raymond) Moore, and Debbie (John) Tucker, all of Chattanooga; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; and lifetime friend, James Davenport and many other friends.
He will lie in state on Thursday, June 30, after 12:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Friday, July 1, at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel with Brother John Earl Tucker as the eulogist. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
