The Knights of Columbus, Chapter, 14079, hosted an awards ceremony and breakfast for local first responders.
This year’s ceremony honored Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Investigator Jeff Gadd, for his heroic actions and participation during the terrorist attack on July 16, 2015, at the Navy-Marine Reserve Center on Amnicola Highway.
Traffic Investigator Gadd was awarded the Knights of Columbus - First Responder of the Year Award.
In attendance were numerous community residents and elected officials including State Representative Mike Carter, Soddy Daisy Mayor Rick Nunley, and Soddy Daisy Commissioners’ Patti Skates and Geno Shipley.
Also in attendance were numerous first responders and law enforcement personnel from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Soddy Daisy Police Department, and Soddy Daisy Fire Department, among others.
