Doris Marie (Carter) Rogers
Doris Marie (Carter) Rogers, 76, of Rossville, Ga., died on May 6, 2016.
She was a resident of Rossville for over 40 years and attended Victory Baptist church. Doris will be greatly missed and was loved by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Edith (Dill) Carter; loving husband, Paul Edward Rogers, and grandson, Donald Rogers Jr.
She is survived by her children, Donald (Tina) Rogers, of Ringgold, Ga., Jan (Mike Cowan) Rogers, of Rock Spring, Ga.; siblings, Bobby (Anna) Carter, of Austin Tx., Wayne Carter, of Rossville, Ga., Diane (William) Matheny, of Rossville, Ga.; grandchildren, Jamie, Kristen, Haley; and great grandchildren, Tristan, Gavin, Blaine, Bryce, and Emily. The family would like to thank the staff at Chattanooga Hospice for the kindness and care provided to Doris.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Garden South. Family will receive friends on Monday from 4-8 p.m. and until time of service on Tuesday.
