Betty Jean Stresing, 75, of Dalton, Georgia, died on Wednesday May 4, 2016 at the Hamilton Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 8, 1940 in Abilene, TX, to the late Marvin and Clara Wright Cargill; and was also preceded in death by her brother, Marvin Cargill Jr.; and sister, Faye Beck.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Richard Stresing of the residence; brothers and sisters-in-law, Willie Cargill, Alton and Cathy Cargill of Claremore, OK, James Lewis and Wilma Cargill of Inola, OK; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Betty Jean Stresing will be held Saturday, May 6, at 11 a.m. from the Whitfield Memorial Gardens with George Cross officiating.

The family will have a private family visitation.

Ponders Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
